When makepkg is run, these folders are created on the machine wich installs the package: ``` myapp/ ├── PKGBUILD ├── src/ ← $srcdir │ └── unpacked source files here ├── pkg/ ← $pkgdir lives here │ └── myapp/... └── myapp-1.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst ← the final package ``` * **$pkgdir** - Everything that needs to appear in the installed package must be placed here with the correct directory structure * **$srcdir** - Refers to the directory where all source files are unpacked or copied by makepkg
